Whitney Wright is the founder of Elia Fulmen Jewelry Co., the co-founder of Athena Collective, and serves as a strategic communications adviser to public, private, and non-profit entities.
She began her career as an engineering consultant at Navigant Consulting with a focus on dispute resolution related to power pricing, grid infrastructure development, and multinational construction projects in Europe and Latin America. Subsequently, she worked for The Beacon Group, Thomas Keller Restaurant Group, served in various positions at tech startups, served as an editor and executive for multiple brands at Time, Inc. including Southern Living, Sports Illustrated, InStyle, Fortune and Real Simple. Most recently she led investor relations and business development at Cook & Bynum Capital Management.
Whitney is deeply dedicated to equitable economic development by deploying research-based strategies to shift cultural psychologies. She currently leads The Collision Project, a data-based diverse dialogue initiative in Alabama executed in partnership MIT Media Lab.
She earned a degree in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University and a degree in Journalism from New York University.
