Rakesh Shankar is a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division at Morgan Stanley. Over the past 12 years, he has worked with the leading clients across power, utilities and renewables sectors, serving as a strategic and financing advisor for over $100Bn of transactions. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Rakesh was a Senior Economist at Moody’s Economy.com. He serves on the Leadership Committee of the Refugee Action Fund. Rakesh received BAs in Economics and International Studies from Washington College, an MA in Economics from Temple University, and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
