Kirk is one of the original co-founders of the Association of Marine Corps Logisticians. He currently serves as the Director of the Weapon System Management Center at Marine Corps Logistics Command, and his 23+ year career has seen logistics at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels. Throughout his career, he served in a variety of leadership and staff positions from the platoon level to Headquarters Marine Corps, in addition to Joint experience with United States Transportation Command and an academic tour as a Secretary of Defense Executive Fellow at Morgan Stanley in New York City.  He deployed twice with the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (1999-2001), twice to Iraq with 3rd Battalion 6th Marines (2005 and 2007), and once to Afghanistan with Combat Logistics Regiment 2 (2013). From 2014 to 2016, Kirk served as the Commanding Officer of Logistics Operations School in Camp Johnson, NC.  He has a Masters of Science in Business Administration from Webster University, a Masters of Military Studies from Marine Corps University and a Certificate of Supply Chain Management from Penn State University. Kirk is the recipient of the Bronze Star Medal for his actions in support of combat operations in Western Al Anbar Province.
