Mark performs research and advisory in deep tech, the term for science-driven technologies that will have disruptive impacts on the global economy. He co-founded his current company Innovation Lab’s offices in Silicon Valley and Barcelona, including their latest offering, The Futurity Studio. Previously, he was a co-founder and/or on the management team of three successful growth startups (growing each team 30x, and reaching combined top valuations of over $700 million). In past roles, Mark was the VP of Research at Lux Research, a principal analyst at Forrester Research, and a management consultant at Accenture. He studied international business at the University of Texas and Mälardalen Polytechnic (Sweden), and neurology and nanobioengineering at UCSF. He has also launched or led the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce, Hello Tomorrow and Creative AI in Silicon Valley, and Long Now chapter in Barcelona.
