What is the Frontier Conference?

The Frontier Conference is about the future leaders of the industrial world. Taking place in New Orleans, The Frontier is featuring the world’s top innovators, thinkers, executives, visionaries, investors, and entrepreneurs to cross pollinate and re–think the future of each major industry.

The Industrials and Energy Sectors have experienced tremendous change in the last decade—confronting obstacles related to safety, security, environment, and price sensitivity. Companies are seeking ways to not only overcome these obstacles, but to improve and optimize production and reduce costs. To do this, many are turning to the Industrial Internet; leveraging data and designing solutions utilizing AI, advanced materials and other emerging technologies. What are the Conference Dates?

The conference starts with the an opening reception on Wednesday, April 12 at the Hyatt Regency. The main conference officially begins the morning of Thursday, April 13 for a full day of speakers and exhibits. Join us for a mixer Thursday evening and stay for the closing keynotes on Friday April 14. Stay tuned for a full schedule and additional details to be announced soon.

The Frontier Mix is a private networking after-party event for attendees that you will not want to miss. The event will be held offsite at a surprise location to be announced during the event. Stay tuned!

Who should attend The Frontier?

The event will host the leading corporations, investors, entrepreneurs, researchers, policymakers, and prominent members of the energy and industrial ecosystem commerce for two days of conversation, dialogue, and networking. While you’ll likely interface with Founders, C-Level Executives, Heads of Innovation, Finance Professionals, VC/Investors, VPs of Strategy or Product Planning, Scientists, R&D Specialists and more, we encourage a casual atmosphere of idea sharing regardless of title.

How many attendees and exhibitors do you expect?

The Frontier will be an intimate gathering of professionals, limited to the first 500 attendees and 20 exhibitors.

What will the weather be like in New Orleans?

April in New Orleans averages between 60-75 degrees. We encourage you to enjoy the city before or after the conference as there will be much to do in the surrounding areas.

What is the dress code?

Dress casual, and expect to have fun while you’re in New Orleans. Get comfortable, feel encouraged and be open minded to the ideas shared. We hope you find means to collaborate with peers and meet problem solvers from across the globe.

Registration Questions

What does it cost to attend The Frontier?

Earlybird ticket sales begin at $1250 and will increase as the event draws near. Register here.

What are the registration dates?

Early bird registrations begins Feb 1, 2017 and end Feb 15, 2017.
Prices begin increasing Feb 16, 2017 and tickets will be on sale until April 2, 2017 or when the event sells out.

What are Frontier Companion passes?

Frontier Companion passes are available so attendees with Full-Conference registrations can bring a guest to an evening event when traveling with a spouse or friend. The Frontier Companion passes are only needed for guests who are not attending the daytime conference activities. Any individual who has a Full-Conference registration or a Day Pass does not need to purchase any additional passes for themselves in order to attend the evening events.

Which events can a Companion attend?

You can purchase a Companion Guest Passes for a spouse/friend you are traveling with for the two evening events – The Frontier Cocktail Opening on Wednesday, April 12 and The Frontier Sundown Mix on Thursday April 13.

As a conference partner or exhibitor, will I be able to attend the conference?

Yes, sponsorship opportunities offer an included and/or discounted registration. For additional details, please visit the Partnerships page.

What is The Frontier refund policy?

REFUND POLICY: All registration/ticket sales are final, no refunds will be issued. All exhibitor and sponsor package purchases are final and non-refundable.

Are registrations transferrable?

Paid registrations may be transferred to another individual if you notify The Frontier in writing by April 2, 2017. Please include complete contact information for yourself as well as for the colleague who will be using the registration.

Sponsor Questions

Why should I partner with the Frontier?

Partnerships bring visibility to your brand in new ways, and in front of thought leaders from across the world. However we work with our partners to integrate your brand into the conference in unique ways that connect with attendees. Attendees are comprised of top innovators, executives, visionaries, and investors. All partnerships receive brand recognition within The Frontier conference book, on the conference website and signage, as well as VIP access throughout the conference and custom integrations within the event. Do sponsors receive a discounted rate for registration?

Yes, sponsors will have access to a select number of conference tickets included and may purchase additional Full-Conference Registrations for $1000 or companion passes for $250. These admissions include all events and activities included in the conference schedule.
